“ Seeing Emma over the past several months has truly been invaluable. From the very first meeting, she made me feel welcomed, listened to, and immediately at ease. Her warmth and caring manner helped me know I was in the right place. ”

I have a degree in Psychology (BAppScPsych) and training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I am currently writing a book on relationships, a part-memoir, part-psychological guide for people to reflect on past relationships in order to build stronger, healthier connections.

Originally from the north of England, I have lived in Aotearoa New Zealand for almost 20 years.

Who I work with

My primary commitment as a counsellor is to provide a safe, respectful, and supportive space for all clients. To maintain this environment and ensure the well-being of both clients and myself, I only work within the scope of my training and expertise.

Ensuring that clients are matched with the right level of care is essential, and I am happy to make recommendations to other professionals that have the appropriate expertise for any specific needs.

“ I’ve really benefited from her insightful guidance and kind approach—her expertise and encouragement have made a meaningful difference in my life ”
